PROGRAMS

Leading Business and Personal Transitions

Thanks to support from Wells Fargo, the FWPO was able to host the first Leading Business and Personal Transitions Program at Harvard Business School (HBS) in 2023, followed by another successful session in 2024. This exclusive program, created and led by the exceptional professors Lynda Applegate and David Ager, was designed specifically for WPO. This rare opportunity allowed WPO members to learn from top professors at HBS and have enriching discussions with other women business owners.

Harvard ManageMentor Spark

In 2023 the FWPO launched Spark by Harvard Business Publishing, to all Chapter Chairs, and WPO members at no additional cost to their existing membership. Spark is a flexible online program which contains access to 18,500+ articles, 1630+ videos, 1500+ podcasts, 700+ HBR cases, and the ability to self-curate customized learning paths. In 2023, we launched a supplementary tool for Chapter Chairs to deliver relevant, engaging content at chapter meetings using Spark resources, called Spark Kits. The kits are topical-based overviews containing summaries of Spark content, discussion starters and key resources, with facilitation instructions.
