Rhona Levine Ruben
President, RLR & Associates
Advisory Council
Rhona Levine Ruben is president of RLR & Associates Inc., a consulting firm specializing in designing and implementing strategic business relationships for women entrepreneurs. Prior to operating her own firm, Rhona enjoyed fifteen extraordinary years with the Business Development Bank of Canada (BDC), the highlight, of which, was the creation of BDC's market strategy for women in business.
Rhona was raised in an entrepreneurial home. She joined the family business and worked with her father in operating a family owned department store until its sale in 1990, whereupon she followed her passion for helping women grow their businesses.
Rhona has always been actively contributing to her community. She is currently on the advisory board of both the Women Presidents' Organization and The Learning Partnership. She is a member of International Women's Forum. Before her move to Toronto, she was Honorary Consul to Sweden for New Brunswick, Governor of National Theater School, Vice-Chair of Theatre New Brunswick, President of both the Fredericton and the New Brunswick Chamber of Commerce.
Rhona credits her husband of 35 years, Allen, for his unrelenting support of her career. Rhona and Allen have two accomplished daughters, Alana and Julie who have given them three precious grandchildren. As a family, they love entertaining, skiing, golfing, and taking retreats at their cottage in New Brunswick.
