Commercial Marketing Manager, Avis Budget
Josephine Lopis drives the business-to-business marketing effort for Avis Budget Group, parent company of Avis Rent A Car and Budget Rent A Car. In this role, Ms. Lopis is responsible for developing marketing strategies for large and mid-sized corporate accounts and supporting a sales team of more than 250 front-line sales people. Corporate marketing is a key area for Avis as the brand was built on its popularity with business travelers.
Ms. Lopis has been with Avis Budget for just over 10 years and has been a part of a rapidly changing travel environment. Over her tenure, Ms. Lopis has worked across a number of business segments including customer loyalty, travel agent marketing and most recently small business. As a key member of the small business team, she focus on customer relationships and was able to start a new rewards program for Budget from scratch and was rewarded with this segment growing by over 100%.
Additionally, Ms. Lopis worked with the diversity supplier team to build its relationship with two key women’s groups: Women Presidents’ Organization and Women’s Business Enterprise National Council.
Prior to joining the company, Ms. Lopis worked for Trans World Airlines.
Ms. Lopis holds a Bachelor of Business Arts degree from Pace University.
Ms. Lopis lives in NJ with her husband, two children, and her Golden Retriever, Lyla.
